Alison stopped by last week to collect a print from her engagement session, and I thought it might be interesting to do a before and after. People are always interested to know what the retouching process involves, but for me there’s no set process in preparing an image for print; each image is unique and requires it’s own unique treatment….

I’m happy to report that Alison was thrilled with the result and this photograph is now proudly displayed in Alison and James’ downtown apartment.

Kevin and Colleen are getting married in September, so a few weeks back we took a little trip to Vancouver’s North Shore to begin our photographic journey together. It was the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, and a very important one on the pagan calendar. I don’t know much about alchemy, but the chemistry between Kevin and Colleen is pretty special. Fantastic people, I’m really looking forward to the wedding.
